75/5220 Cambiaso, L. (1527-1585) (after). (Holy Virgin and Child). Drawing, pen and brown ink, pencil underdrawing, 29,2x22,6 cm., 17th (?) cent. wooden tortoise shell and bone inlaid frame.

- Closed tear in left part; paper remnants along edges on verso from former mount; foxed and partly browned (mostly along edges). Frame with a few damages.

= A very accurate probably 17th century copy on laid paper after the drawing no.876 E in the Uffizi, Florence. The vague pencil underdrawing and the accuracy of the copy suggests that the copy was made with the drawing on sight or even with the use of the drawing. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LVIII.
