- Outer margin of engr. title and the first textp. neatly and delicately restored; gradually increasing water-/ mould-stain in lower blank margin from p.571 onwards to the end (eventually just touching the lower margin of the textblock) and gradually increasing dampstain in upper blank margin from p.1161 up to p.1245. Otherwise contents fine. Frontcover rubbed in right margin; lower cover trifle rubbed along outer margin; upper joint skilfully restored; binding lacks ties.

= An impressive copy of this famous book, rarely found with the coat of arms of Amsterdam, most probably a presentation copy. Nissen, BBI 518; Pritzel 2345; Stafleu 1492; Bibl. Belg. D121.
