- Twentieth cent. owner's stamp on first blank. A very fine copy.

= On the binding: The First Stadholder Bindery was the "most important bindery working in the eighteenth-century Netherlands" (Storm van Leeuwen, vol. IIA p.67). Quite possibly from the collection of the "Lion Collector" (see Storm van Leeuwen, p.82ff). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXXXVII.
