Lot of 8 late 18th cent. richly gilt vellum schoolprize bindings, all (almost) identically decorated w. central gilt coat of arms of Hoorn (Spoelder 2) on both covers, surrounded by double gilt border and corner fleurons, spine w. elaborate compartments w. repeated central floral ornament and small manuscript title in top compartment, various 8vo sizes.

- Ties of only 1 volume preserved; vellum occas. sl. soiled. Very attractive uniformely bound set.
