= Part of a complete edition by the publisher Pacini of Beethoven's string quartets, with a continuous pagination running from p.64-197 (but not bound sequentially). Francesco Gaetano Saverio Antonio Pacini (1778-1866) worked in Paris from 1806-1840 and was an esteemed publisher with many well wishers amongst composers, as was proven when his business went up in flames in 1835, and he lost his whole stock: his business was saved by the massive support given to him by musicians and composers both French and foreign who sent him their compositions for free.
