= The work was published in instalments over a period of 166 years, making it very difficult to find a complete and uniformly bound set (two more works were published in the series: P.C.T. SNELLEN, Determinatie der lepidoptera, afgebeeld in het werk: Beschouwingen der wonderen Gods (...) (Amst., 1862) and A. BRANTS, Nederlandsche vlinders (The Hague, (1900)-1928)). This set consists of the following works: I. (First Series:) J.C. SEPP, Beschouwingen der wonderen Gods (...) (Amst., J.C. Sepp, 1762-1860, 8 vols.; II. (Second series:) S.C.
