69/2736 Ebers, G. (1837-1898). AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED "Georg Ebers", pen and purple ink, dated "Tutzing d. 15. Sept. 84", 1 folded leaf, recto only, (1)p.

= Letter to his unnamed Dutch translator, writing about Dr Paul Seidel (brother of his son in law), art historian, who will be staying in Amsterdam for a while and expressing his gratitude for any help that his correspondent can give him in practical and academic matters. Also stating that he is glad that his correspondent has agreed to translate his new work for him.

AND 2 others: a cut out section of a postcard with SIGNATURE of GEORG EBERS and a short AUTOGRAPH NOTE SIGNED by FANNY LEWALD STAHR to unidentified recipient (pen and ink, dated "Scheveningen d. 11/ aug. 84". Apparently to an old friend, whom she is glad to see again after so many years).
