69/2829 [Oriental manuscripts]. Mas’ûd b. ‘Umar Al-Taftâzânî Sharh Tasrîf Al-Zanjânî. Manuscript in Indian Naskh script, 18th cent., (49) lvs., written in black and red pen and ink, 20 lines to each page, modern hleather.

- Paper brittle along edges; new endpaper; visibly repaired wormholes (mainly in first part); sl. stained and soiled almost throughout; sm. stamp "R" occas. in lower left corner; upper hinge broken; ms. annots. on pastedowns and free endpapers. Black tape over spine.

= A (prob.) 18th century copy of the compendium written by Al-Taftazani on Al-Tasrif Al-Izzi (a work on Arabic inflexion by Ibrahim al-Zanjani). Al-Taftazani's works are considered standard for students of Islamic theology.
