= Alexandre de Paris was nicknamed the "Prince of Hairdressing". Aexandre de Paris became the hairstylist of i.a. the Duchess of Windsor, Jacqueline Kennedy and Princess Grace. Movie stars swore by him, starting with Elisabeth Taylor, Sophia Lauren and Romy Schneider. His signature chignons (knot or a coil of hair arranged in the back of the head) and his flamboyant style made him famous, setting fashions in hairstyling for decades.
