- Only vol. 4 (of 10). Contents waterstained; partly (heavily) fingersoiled along bottom margin. Wr. (very) worn.

Hokkei (1780-1850). (Koto with music books and a fish bowl). Col. woodcut shikishiban, signed Hokkei, w. gold and silver gauffrage, probably early 20th cent.
- Slightly browned and spotted; w. two sm. wormholes; cut sl. short along top; w. a (sm.) waterstain in mid-upper half.
= From the series Mutsumigawa bantsuzuki Makura no soshi (The Pillow Book Series for the Mutsumi Group).
- Slightly browned; corners creased.
ADDED: Anonymous (20th cent.). (Kyoto, Maruyama). Col. woodcut, 14x9 cm., w. red seal "Kiyoshi" and unidentified seal, after Tsuchiya Koitsu's work with the same name, second half 20th cent.
- Most lvs. quite worn, particularly in lower margin; w. some annots. in Japanese in brush and ink. Rebound; binding sl. worn.
= An ehon by a pupil of Hokusai, as is evident in the style.
