- Lower part of the original print cut off below the profile and its decorative border.
= Profile view of Kyoto. Part of a larger plate w. 5 other views. From Z. CHÂTELAIN, Atlas Historique, ou Nouvelle Introduction A l'Histoire (...) Tome V. Qui comprend l'Asie en général et en particulier (1719).
- Usual defects: occas. sl. foxed, creased, yellowed etc.
= Very large lot, mostly European topography.

- Slightly browned; a few foxed spots.
= Among the earliest printed nautical charts of this region. Possibly after Janssonius' Licht der Zee-vaert (cf. Koeman IV, M.Bl 8, 1).
