- Fine impression on laid paper with Pro Patria watermark. Vaguely foxed/ stained, especially on verso; probably washed.
= New Hollstein 280, probably the third state (of 4); Hollstein/ Bartsch 47, 2nd state (of 2). With unidentified collector's mark "K" on verso. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XCIII.
- Impression with heavy plate tone on rather thick laid paper with unidentified watermark (showing a crown); sl. cut short; sm. chip at the top or right margin; verso w. remnants of former mounting in upper margin.
= White/ Boon 55, the 6th state (of 6); New Hollstein 262, 6th state (of 6). Possibly an impression by Jean de Bary (?). Verso w. collector's stamp "V.F." (not in Lugt). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XCIV.
- Small vague stain in lower blank margin.
= New Hollstein 151, the third state (of 3). With the collector's mark of R. Alianello (Lugt 5K) on verso.
- Left margin and lower right corner restored/ strengthened on verso; a few vague stains.
= New Hollstein 88, 2nd state (of 2). On paper with Fleurs de Lys watermark (Hinterding p.151). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XCIV.
= New Hollstein 216, 7th state (of 9), before the extensive rework by H.L. Basan's workshop; Nowell-Usticke B57, probably the 6th state (of 8). "A small, not very common night piece." (Nowell-Usticke).
- Trimmed ±4 mm. outside the platemark; paper trifle browned.

- Good strong, dark impression.

- Probably washed; upper right corner (water)stained and signature sl. worn; lower right blank corner restored. Fine impression on thin laid 17th cent. paper.
= New Hollstein 190, 2nd state (of 2); Hollstein/ Bartsch 118, the second state (of 2). With the collector's marks of G.A. Cardew (Lugt 1134. Sl. shining through) and C.J.F. Maasen (Lugt 1774b) on verso. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XCV.
- On late 18th/ early 19th century woven paper; trimmed a few mm. outside the platemark; the paper has probably been whitened (or discoloured by an unknown agent), within the outer contours of the shape of the head and cap to make it stand out from the rest of the paper, causing weak spots in the paper and ink (especially in his hair on the right). Despite the defects, most parts are well printed.
= Scarce. With the collector's mark of the artist and art dealer Antonio Cesare Poggi (1744-1836) (Lugt 617). New Hollstein 133, first and only state. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XCV.

- Trifle yellowed. = Hollstein 18, 1st state of 2.
- All w. stamp of the Waldburg Wolfegg'sches Kupferstichkabinett (Lugt 2542) on verso.

- Foxed. = On stiff thick laid paper. Wallace 111, 2nd state.
- Fine impressions. = New Hollstein 439 and 448.
- Two closed tears in lower margin and left margin, just touching/ within the image; sl. soiled in right margin. Good impression.
