= Rare print, not traced. Perhaps a French allegorical print. The two men holding a wine bottle with the text "Vin consolatio super" with a woman between them. The Dutch manuscript caption below reads: "Vincit vim virtus. Peter Cuyper met Kenauw en Peter Hasselaars den Vyventwintighsten in Lentemaand 1573, toonende hunne dartelheit op de zeege by de uitval op de beleegheraars". The caption refers to the Haarlem Siege of 1573, but it is doubtful there is a connection with the print.

= Rare, not traced. On laid paper with a watermark showing a monogram "NMH" in a shield, topped by a pole with a snake coiled around (probably German, 17th cent.). Perhaps a lover of Ceres (Vulcanus?).

= From the series of 10 Seascapes. Hollstein 4, the rare 1st state of 3 (before the letters). On laid paper with watermark showing the figure of Freedom in the garden of Holland. According to the annotation on verso, this is the same watermark as the first state impressions in the collection of Rijksprentenkabinet. With the (manuscript) collector's marks of "Wm. Delamotte 1810, R.M[ilitary](?) College Sandhurst", "Dodd 1816" (Thomas Dodd?); Kaye Dowland "1863" (Lugt 691); stamped collector's mark of Vester de Moor (not in Lugt) and "1952 veiling M.(uller?) Herfst Collectie 't Hooft f.60 collectie Vester de Moor" in pencil.

Idem. (A Man-of-war being repaired in the harbour). Etching 17,1x23 cm., signed "L Bak" and "1701" (in reverse) in the plate, with the address of the artist below.

With the collection marks of museum Boymans van Beuningen (Lugt 396b (bequest of H. M. Montauban van Swijndrecht (1841-1929)) and 700a (stamp indicating duplicates)).
