= Rare and interesting plan, issued at the beginning of the Batavian Republic, and showing the revolutionary changes in topographical names such as "'t Revolutie Plein" (formerly the Dam) and "Burgerplein" (formerly Koningsplein). Two engr. views, each 23x28,7 cm., w. engr. German caption below in 4 or 5 columns, from F. HOGENBERG, Geschichtsblätter, late 16th cent., tipped onto 1 paper mount.
- Trifle yellowed; otherwise fine.

- Later, sl. grey impression (18th/19th cent.) (w. watermark of C.& J. Honig) ; one sheet with brown stain in upper left corner; one sheet w. mouldy spots along lower edge.
= Rare. Donkersloot-De Vrij 130: "Deze gedetailleerde en decoratieve kaart wordt algemeen geroemd vanwege de prachtige weergave van boerderijen en buitenplaatsen". SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXXXII.

Thin spots and closed tears in area to the right of Almelo) and "Genneperhuis" (engr. plan w. cartouche, from BLAEU, Townbooks, ±1650).
- Reduced map w. vertical false fold on right side. Otherwise very fine.
= Rare copy of the deluxe edition in which the reduced map (but not the coats of arms) is spendidly handcoloured and heightened with gold: "Cornelis Koster graveerde in 1751 de koperplaat. Isaac Tirion, een uitgever uit Amsterdam, drukte 475 exemplaren van de nieuwe versie. Op een 35-tal hiervan werden behalve het kaartbeeld ook de familiewapens ingekleurd en met goud afgezet." (De Wilt/ Klapwijk etc., p.29). See also Donkersloot-De Vrij 806. On the binding: "Among the bindings of the Fungus Tool Bindery is also a very large one in marbled calf, on a map of the Water Board Area of Delfland and another map (L 834)."
