- A few unobtrusive very small waterstains in the blue background; corners of outer border sl. darkened; crack of 5 mm. in outer lower left corner; a few tiny rubbed spots in outer borders.

= A fine detailed portrait of a princess wearing a dress w. floral decoration under two layers of diaphanous veils covered with a very subtle painted pattern of gold decoration, the gilt stripes of the inner veil enriched w. numerous tiny pits. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LVII.
