= The very rare first publication of the Tuinwijkpers; with calligraphed dedication by the printer on first free endpaper: "6 Maart 1957. Gaudeamus igitur juvenes dum sumus. Post jucundam juventutem. Let us live, then and be glad. While young life's before us. Toet & Sem".
- With bookplate of Paul Dewalhens on verso frontwr.; first and last leaf (and outer blank margins other lvs.) w. some offsetting from wr.; gluestain on title-p. The very fragile wrappers w. some minor worn/ dam. spots along extremities but on the whole in good/ fine condition.
= Desmedt 20a (quoting Jean Milo, from Cahiers de Belgique, March 1931, p.97): "Je tombai un jour chez Tytgat sur un petit carnet d'étudiant dans lequel Tytgat avait écrit quelques contes. (...)
