= Our copy contains 2 calendar leaves extra, printed in black and red, which were originally printed in the 1528 edition. The verso of the second calendar leaf contains the "Extract wten Registere vanden vonnissen der wethouderen der stadt van Antwerpen" and is dated "Aldus ghedaen des vrijdaechs neghen daghen in November vijfthien hondert iaer ende XXVIII". One of the rarest Dutch 16th cent. bibles. Poortman I, p.92ff; Darlow/ Moule 3282 note and 3285 (ed. 1542 w. the same collation as our ed.); BCNI 1238; Nijhoff/ Kronenberg 403. The title-pages contain a compartment with Martin de Keyser's initials, but Poortman states that the woodcuts in the New Testament are not by De Keyser but by an anonymous artist. The printing date given at the end of the New Testament is different from that given on the title-p. of the New Testament ("Int iaer ons Heeren alsmen schreef. M.CCCCC.XXX.
