= The document dated 1552 is a deed of transport concerning property "in den kerspell van Droemmell inde Zaelemaet" [= Dreumel] and mentions the names Alait van Isendoirn and Johan Verwoird. The document dated 1564 is an open letter concerning property "in der heerlicheit Indoirnick" owned by the family Stepraide, the lords of the manor.
AND two 17th (both pen and ink on paper) and one 18th century (pen and ink on vellum w. wax seal attached) manuscript document, dated 1630/ 1664. and 1798.

= Simeon Petrus Collot d'Escury (1719-1800), i.a. dike reeve of the Neder-Alblasserwaard, and the "Land van Arkel", as well as schepen alderman of Gorinchem in 1762, and mayor of Gorinchem in 1771, 1772, 1775 en 1776.
WITH: a letterpress copy of the epitaph, dated in letterpress "4/22 1800" (laid down along upper margin).

= Around the date of this document, Jan van Paffenrode had to mortgage part of his possessions in Gorinchem in order to be able to pay for the upkeep of the family mansion known as "Het huis van Paffenrode". Quite possibly the sale of property by Van Paffenrode covered by this document was also concluded to ease his finances. Apart from the signature below the contract, two more signatures by Van Paffenrode were added on later payment dates ("5 october 1660" and "23 febr: 1661"). Provenance: Collectie Dr. J.G. de Lint.

= Interesting journal of the personal physician of Willem I, King of the Netherlands. Bernard addresses the King as "Z.M." (=Zijne Majesteit). Remarkably frequent visits are registered to "Prinses Frederik" (Wilhelmina Frederica Louisa Charlotte Marianne 1810-1883)). Other members of the royal household such as the Queen and princess of Saxe-Weimar were also regularly checked upon.

= DRAFT of the poem included in Koren-bloemen (The Hague, 1658, IX. Boeck. Snel-dicht, no.8, p.623). With 3 corrections: in line 6 (the word following "Deze is van 'tsoetst" illegibly crossed out and changed into "verdiep"), in line 7 ("wijst" crossed out and changed into "rolt") and in line 8 ("als" crossed out and changed into "voor"). The heading variant "Aen Joffw. Tesselschade Visscher, drijvende een' schoone dochter van Mr. Pieter van Veen, in sijn leven uytnemend schilder, tot het geestelick leven" as in J.A. WORP (ed.), De gedichten van Constantijn Huygens, vol. II, p.252 (Gron., 1893), but with one (illegible) word later added between "leven" and "uytnemend". The "schoone dochter van Mr. Pieter van Veen" alludes to Apollonia van Veen, to whom Vondel and Barlaeus have also dedicated pieces of poetry. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXII.
