- Folded twice; soiled and w. stains; w. dam. spots on horizontol fold and centre; sl. chipped/ frayed in margins.
= Neither this type of prints nor technique mentioned in KVCS. A few rebuses allude to the Belgian Revolt, i.a. mentioning Van Speyck, generaal Chassé, but also "Hollands [brood] Brabands [dood]". Rare. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CXXVIII.
- Sl. browned, mostly along edges. = All French sayings.
- Lower margin cut short.
= Rare print showing various Parisian street vendors, i.a. bird cage seller, scale seller, chestnut seller and seller of boxes.

"Eenige bijzonderheden uit het leven van Peter den Grooten, Czaar, of Keizer van Rusland, gedurende zijn verblijf als scheepstimmerman te Zaandam en Amsterdam (...)". Catchpenny print w. 12 partly handcol. woodcut ills. by SCHUYLING, captions below, "no. 20", Rott., T.C. Hoffers, ±1830.
- Folded twice, partly strengthened on folds or repaired on verso. = KVCS, p.764, no.20.

= Van Munster re-issued the first series of 'Nutsprenten' first published by Ratelband/ Bouwer/ Le Jolle. KVCS p.806, Ratelband cs. AA. "Instructief is de Nutsprent die David le Jolle heeft uitgegeven onder de letters AA, met de title Schep hier vermaak, o lieve Jeugd (...). Geen woord van afkeuring over de kermims, wat opmerkelijk is, omdat 't Nut zich later aansloot bij de kerken in hun pogingen om de Amsterdamse kermis te verbieden" (KVCS p.443).

- Margins cut almost to the image.
= A Michel Morin is a local French expression for a very versatile and handy person. The expression and this print were based on two anonymous biographical texts on the fictional character of Michel Morin, who excelled in everything, but who nonetheless died from the fall from a tree.
AND 3 others, of which 2 cut in sections, "Moeurs et usages des indiens de la tribu des osages, arrivés en France en 1827" and one on Zarafa, the giraffe who was a gift from Muhammad Ali to the French king in 1827. - AND 1 similar on Michel Morin, prob. publ. by the same, cut in 4 parts and tipped on mount.
- Formerly folded twice, w. tiny holes along folds; some sm. holes in blank margins; trifle stained.
= Very rare, KVCS not mentioning the presence of this print in any collection, and referring to it as an (orig.) publication of Noman (p.404). KVCS p.824, Stichter 62. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CXXVIII.
