= Partly w. ticket on the back of the frame reading "Guaranteed hand painted & real exotic butterfly wings" or "Original Hand Painted Picture composed of real butterfly wings". Incl. a nice iridiscent composition of a young girl scolding her cat "Pussy Cat, Pussy Cat Where have you been?"
ADDED: 2 Chinese drawings on pith paper, both framed: (A lady with her attendant) (14x10,5 cm.) and (A boy playing with a ball) (9,7x7 cm.); a small 20th cent. Russian lacquered box by CHAGIN (lid showing the Anichkov palace) and a fossil of a fish (8x2 cm. (fish)).
- Lacks wrappers; occas. trifle yellowed/ frayed. = Contains many art deco designs.

= Showing various professions, all in very attractive art nouveau border in Alphonse Mucha style.

= Probably a design for a banner. DKW was a German manufacturer of cars and motorbikes.
Driessen, R. (1st half 20 cent.). "De Bron. Moderne kunstvoorwerpen". Drawing, pen and black ink, 39x35 cm., signed in pencil.
- Colours faded; some threads loosening; a few tears at lower edge.
- Two sm. tears in lower margin.
Anonymous (late 18th cent.). (Memento mori). Cut out plant fibre on cloth within plant fibre borders, 6,9x10,3 cm.
- Lacks a few sm. pieces of plant fibre.
- A few corroded spots; possibly lacking beads; cloth faded and splitting at sides.

"S: Barbara". Oval gouache on paper, within broad punctured margins ('prikkunst'), surrounded by gilt borders, 16,3x10 cm., 18th cent. - AND 14 other holy pictures, incl. 9 similar holy pictures, all gouaches within richly punctured and/ or nicely cut borders, all 18th cent., i.a. "S. Maria", "S. Josephus", "S. Joannes", "S. Petrus" and "S. Ottilia" (all fine).
- Horizontally folded. Otherwise fine.
= "Geteekend door G.K. Bruining, den 26 Maart 56. Geb. 26 Aug. 1841" and "Dockum" below image. Possibly the winning entry in a religious designing contest for youngsters. Nice typographic design.
- Sl. dam. in left border of oval gouache. = Very refined cut out borders.
= This leaflet would have been made as a memento for sale to pilgrims visiting the abbey at Einsiedeln, which was an important site for its veneration of the hermit saint, Meinrad, and its 'miracle-working' statue of the Virgin, which dates from the fifteenth century.
