Schida, Kobe).

= Personal album of a Soviet soldier stationed in Uzbekistan. Most locations and scenes identified in manuscript captions (in Russian), mostly Tashkent and Samarkand. Incl. scenes from the soldier's barracks and the military hospital of Tashkent, local Uzbek people, soldiers relaxing outdoor with music and games, donkey rides and soldiers with silkworms on a silkfarm. = Personal album of a member of the Soviet border squad, stationed in the bordering region of Tadzhikistan and Afghanistan. Most locations and scenes identified in manuscript captions (in Russian), mostly in and around the town Khorod (Shugnan region and Pamir mountains). Very interesting view of early 1930s town life in Tadzhikistan, incl. industry and crafts, musicians, children playing games, an opium smoker, islamic clergy, the unveiling of a statue of Lenin and the arrival of "the first airplane in Khorod". - Upper left corner bumped (portfolio and photograph); portfolio partly sl. foxed/ dustsoiled along edges.
- Projector lacks the transformator and wire and plug, the insulating rubber mat and instruction booklet.
