= Ex/ Hoek p.126f. One of the finest typographic works of Huszár and his "magnum opus" in the large number of designs for the Bruynzeel firm. He used i.a. a photograph by Piet Zwart (on p.68), who succeeded Huszár as home-designer of Bruynzeel (cf. Brentjens ill. 292). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE IX.

= Karel Lodr (1915-1998), Czech architect and designer, attended the Technical School of Construction Engineering in Hradec Králové between 1930 and 1935, and studied architecture at the School of Decorative Arts in Prague in 1936 and the Academy of Fine Arts between 1936 and 1940. Apart from his architecture, he designed books and exhibitions and created collages and photomontages in the 1930s and 1940s.
