= Attractive watercolour with fresh colours. On paper with part of Pro Patria watermark. Attribution on verso in old hand in pencil: "J. van Gool. f. De beste van hem bekent." SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CXIV.

= Possibly after FRANS POST. Later numb. "149" in pen and brown ink on verso. The animal most closely resembles a jaguarundi (native to i.a. South America), although jaguarundis have much longer tails than this drawing shows. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CXVII.
