= Nice plan with a prominent city wall and compass rose, and flanked by two lists of 54 "Nomi dei Monasteri Chiese &", as indicated on the plan. The built-up areas are coloured grey; no individual plots or houses are shown. The most remarkable features of the plan are the canals or trenches, each simply called "fosso", which are indicated in blue, as well as the water fountains within the town, i.a the Fonte Branda and Fonte Nuova, which to this day are still standing.
