= Menno Simon Jacobus van Meeteren Brouwer (1882-1974) was a prolific illustrator of newspapers and periodicals in the Dutch East Indies before the war. The archive, from the estate of the artist himself, consists mostly of clippings of his illustrations from various periodicals. Also included is the orig. design and a proof of the book Nederlands Indië zoals het was - Menno's Indische Penkrabbels (Rijswijk, 1956). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXXV.
