= Cf. the photograph by Fieret sold in our rooms in 2016, a section of the same atelier, mirrored, that photograph with the following annotation on verso: "In een later atelier. Wederom de vazen met op de achterwand een oud schilderij van mijn hand plus tekening ook door mij vervaardigd het schilderij is ontstaan in het verloop der jaren vijftig". = Nice photographs by i.a. E. LADREY (Parisian scenes), anonymous views in the surroundings of Baden-Baden, Badische Schwarzwald-Bahn, Allerheiligen, the Uethli Bahn near Zürich, Mer de Glace, the Cascade de REichenbach (by GASCIN) and the Taminaschlucht (by J. FETZER).

= Nice album with views of i.a. Paris, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Monte-Carlo, Menton, Genova, Pisa and Firenze.
- All laid down on 3 stiff paper album leaves (recto and verso) under plastic foil (possibly separable); sl. creased and chipped.
= Small but very nice collection, showing a group of Tbilisi men with wine and musicians at a dining table, a man carrying a barrel, a fruit seller(?) with a small dog, a young woman playing the chonguri (Georgian string instrument) and a field with oil derricks. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXXII.
ADDED: one other (laid down on verso of one of the mounts): an albumen print showing the Borromean Islands (Italy).
= Attractive album showing a holiday w. friends traveling to Bavaria. Depicted are i.a. a trip to Munich; waterfalls and the surrounding scaffolding (the ladies even bathed); a day at the saltmines (including a dress up party in local costumes); mineworkers; a trip to the Köningssee and a visit to Berchtesgaden.
- Mostly fine; occas. trifle dogeared/ faded. Occas. spine and corners dam.; albums mostly fine.
= Extensive and attractive collection showing various events in the life of several families. Depicted are i.a. trips to the mountains of St. Moritz, France, Rome, Havana, New York and Budapest. Also contains pictures of French women from Bretagne wearing traditional costumes. The collection includes many snapshots of cultural sites in large cities all over the world and occas. some picture postcards.
- A few sl. faded. = Published by i.a. A. Vernout, A. Jager and P. Oosterhuis.
= Verso w. "Het voorgebouw te Hengelo .O. Ontworpen door W. de Jong Bouwkundige bij de Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van Staatsspoorwegen te Utrecht. Uitgevoerd in 1901/02." The building would be heavily damaged during a bombing in October 1944 and was replaced in 1951. Nice photo, a steam locomotive on the tracks behind and a little girl seated on the side steps of the building.
- Album worn; backstrip pasted over w. later cloth.
= Including nice views of i.a. Pisa, Firenze, Bologna, Venezia, Verona, Bellagio, Stresa, Torino and Milano. Also incl. a few Austrian views (i.a. Salzburg and Berchtesgaden) and some photographs of works of art.

= Interesting collection, i.a. streetviews of Tokyo, "Wounded Japanese Soldiers from Liao Yang being brought ashore at Hiroshima, Japan", "Tillers of the Soil in Japan", a Buddhist funeral procession and "A Detachement of Infantery in the field".
- Partly frayed and/ or sl. creased in margins.
= Remarkable collection of photographs in very nice, delicate colouring. Incl. many (titled) scenes of daily life (i.a. street scenes, "Farmers working in a field"), many bijin ("Girl (atsugi) name", "Dancing", "Girls playing ball", "Dressing"), crafts- and tradesmen (a "Fishi-Seller", "Blind shampoorer", "Second hand cloth store", "Dry-goods shop"), countryside and town views views (i.a. "Fujiyama from Kawaibashi", "Miyanoshita, Hakone", "Lake of Hakone", "Bluff, Nagasaki", "West Hatoba, Yokohama"), temples ("Osuwa-Temple, Nagasaki"), a warrior on horse-back, flexible children showing their art, etc. etc. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE LXXIII.
