Following the auction “From DADA to COBRA - works from the library of Aldo and Hannie van Eyck” from 24 November 2025, our current auction includes autographs from the collection of Aldo and Hannie van Eyck. The collection (lots no. 1940-1956) comprises autographs by i.a. Karel Appel, Hans Arp, Til Brugman, Constant, Corneille, Nelly van Doesburg, Christian Dotremont, Kurt Schwitters, Georges Vantongerloo and Carel Visser. It places Aldo van Eyck among those seemingly diverse art movements in the period around and immediately after the Second World War.
