In 1796 tekende de Groningse kunstenaar Egbert van Drielst een aantal gezichten in Elswout, samen met zijn collega Jacob Cats. Schwegman maakte van een viertal van deze gezichten grote (...) "omtreketsen" die hij met de hand inkleurde. Het waren magistrale prenten die volgens deskundige tijdgenoten niet onderdeden voor het werk van beroemde buitenlandse kunstenaars. (...)
