= Our copy with a mansucript annotation in lower margin print "Fritzius fec" in pen and ink. Very nice and rare print, showing the menagerie at the inn of Jan Berentsz. Westerhof, a.k.a. "Blaauw Jan", at the Cloveniersburgwal in Amsterdam. At this popular small zoo, that existed between 1675 or 1695 and 1784, various kinds of (wild) animals, and human beings, were exhibited, such as the dwarf Wybrant Lolkes, "niet hooger dan 29 Duim", and the giant Cajanus, who was "8 Amsterdamsche voeten en 9 duim hoog".
