= The larger part identified on verso (French, Dutch, German and American). Photographs showing i.a. the Douglas DC-4 (Sabena) and DC-2 (Uiver), both of which caused a fatal plane crash, the Air Force's K-24 aerial night photos of NYC (±1944) and J.E. Caldwell's mysterious flying saucer (±1949). Also includes a (reversal film) series of ESA atronauts (1996), i.a. with W. Ockels, U. Merbold and J.-F. Clervoy. Provenance: Automobielmuseum Driebergen (stamp on verso of several photographs).

= Harold H. Drory (1849-1918) came from a high society Belgian family from Ghent. He married the British Elisabeth Wingfield (1858-1954) in 1877. Her father Kenelm Digby Wingfield came from the extensive Wingfield family. Contains also portraits from related families, i.a. Fetherstonhaught (related through the Digby family) and the earl of Cottenham (also through the Digby family line), Cooper and Fletcher. Also a few portraits of the family related to Elisabeth''s mother Sainte Marie.
