= On his travels, work and publications. "(...) was in clalcutta & darjeeling voor botanische tuinen, in delhi om boeken te kopen en in gangtok, pemayangtse en sangah chöllin waar ik buddhistische kloosters bezocht en gesprekken had met lamas over kunst. (...) in sikkim ook mooie varens verzameld." [undated]; "(...) ik kan een atelier in renkum krijgen maar kan er niet wonen (...)." Zou het prettig vinden een zo dik mogelijk stapeltje van dit M.J. te ontvangen. kan dat?? heb nu overigens niet eens één ex.! vind overigens M.J. zeer goed geworden wat de inhoud betreft. (...) de lay-out van het M.J. is echter m.i. zeer slecht. kan daar een lange kritiek op schrijven. is uiterst onfunktioneel (...)".
