"Seine Schriften, stark an Zahl, sind durchweg in scholastischer Form gehalten, nehmen dabei Rücksicht auf die Praxis. (...) Am meisten gebraucht wurde sein Enchiridion s. manuale Confessariorum (...) in nicht übertriebener casuistischer Form" (Wetzer I, 1778).
