= The automaton depicts a Dutch view with a bridge over a waterway on which boats sail and people and carriages crossing the bridge. The whole driven by a wheel turned by falling sand. With annotation on the clipping "Gerrit Manhe(?) te Rott. gekogt Aug. 1801 voor f40".
