= Interesting and important letter in which Ensor complains that he has not been mentioned in Mauclair's The French Impressionists (1860-1900) (1903). Ensor writes at large about his search in modernising art, i.a. listing the exhibitions of his works, explaining the modern aspects of the work, and complaining about his isolation and the lack of interest in his work.
