= New Hollstein 237. Part of the series of 13 Emblemata Evangelica ad XII signa coelestia (title and 12 scenes from the life of Christ representing the months).
- Trimmed to the image; formerly folded; tiny small cut and a small tear in lower margin closed.
= Hollstein 173, 2nd state of 4 (before the crack in the plate). Part of the series The Works of Hercules (10 engravings).
- Good impressions cut just outside/ inside the borderline. Touch w. old flattended vertical fold and verso some brown stains (shining through). Taste some repairs in upper margin. Sight left margin trimmed short w. loss of image (±3/ 4 mm wide). A few transluscent brown stains/ specks.
= New Hollstein 204, 206 and 207, the first state (of 3).
- Corners strengthened/ w. sm. restorations. = Hollstein 1-12.
- Good strong impressions. Glue stains shining through/ wrinkling in upper corners.
= Complete set of etchings, with the later added title. Hollstein 1-6, all 3rd state (of 3).
- Both outer corners dam. and lacking sm. portion; chip in lower margin w. loss of image, a few smaller chips along the upper margin; a few closed tears; sl. soiled. Sold w.a.f.
= Rare. Bartsch 46; Zerner 2. With a manuscript collector's mark "Tc" in pen and ink on recto (not in Lugt). On laid paper with a small unidentified watermark. SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CIX.
= Nice etching in the style of Fragonard.
- Left margin cut short, a few mm. within the image; otherwise trimmed just outside the borderline; a few sm. specks.
= Part of the series of the 12 Months. Robert-Dumesnil 230; IFF 16e siècle 205, probably 1st state of 2.
- Occas. trifle yellowed; 3x trimmed on/ just outside right border line.
= New Hollstein, The Van Doetecum Family 928-930, 937, 938, 945, 947, 949 and 954. Comprises i.a. views of Goa, Abyssinia, China and Java.
- "John" trimmed on/ just within the borderline; the other prints w. ample margins, sl. agetoned w. sl. offsetting from passepartout.
= Hollstein 33, 42, 43, all 1st state of 2; New Hollstein (De Gheyn) 90, 98, 99, all 1st state of 2.
- Cut on the borderline; lower margin cut short, w. partial loss of the letters; waterstained along lower edge; vertical central fold partly strengthened in upper part; left part unevenly browned/ stained.
= Hollstein 4; New Hollstein 2, prob. 4th or 5ths state of 5, w. the address below the text cut off. With a large unidentified watermark showing two climbing lions under a large crown.
- First print w. closed marginal and 2 larger tears; both prints w. closed central vertical tear on fold.
= The artist is only known for the 4 circular prints he made for the alchemist treatise by Heinrich Khunrath, Amphitheatrum sapientiae aeternae (Hamburg, 1595). The first edition is still without the double-page plates and the circular engravings are with a large border with a copious text. Caillet 5747 (mentioning the Hanau edition of 1609). "La Planche qui représente Khunrath entouré de ses ennemis (...) manque dans presque tous les exemplaires. Il en est de mème pour les 2 tableaux synoptiques de Kabbale synthétisée (...)". On laid paper with a coat of arms showing a castle with a fish below its gate and a monogram "HR" (found on paper used in 1604 in Celle). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CVIII.
Anonymous (early 17th cent.). (Symbolic landscape with large rock "pyramidum" containing a alchemist text). Engraving, 28x32,5 cm., "M.DC.II" (1602) in the plate.
- Central fold strengthened on verso and a few closed marginal tears.
= On laid paper with the same watermark as above. The style is cruder then the circular engravings, so not by Van der Doort. The caption below is signed by Heinrich Khunrath. The text on the rock is in Latin and a German translation and signed "Mercurius Trismegistus in Pimandro".
- With central fold and sl. (finger)soiled; trimmed on the platemark. = Hollstein 6, 2nd state of 3.
Fyt, Jan (1611-1661). The sleeping dogs. Etching, 16,7x22 cm., "Fyt" in the plate.
- Large closed tear in upper left corner; trimmed just outside the borderline.
= Hollstein 15, prob. 2nd state of 3. With the collector's mark of Juan Jorge Peoli (1825-1893, Lugt 2020), the manuscript collector's mark of Leonard and Lisa Baskin (1922-2000, Lugt 4475) and annotations in pencil "M.F.A. Boston" and "H.F. Sewall" and "dupl." (but not the usual marks of these 2 collections).
- Cut just outside the borderline; both sl. grey impressions.
= Hollstein 7, 2nd or 3rd state and 8, 2nd or 3rd state.
Idem. The two swine. The three swine near the edge. Two etchings, each 12x15,1 cm.
- Trimmed just outside the platemark.
= Hollstein 15, 1st state of 2, before the number and Hollstein 16, 2nd state of 2, with the number.
Idem. The Village on the hill. Etching, 12,1x15,5 cm.
- Trimmed just outside the platemark; fine impression.
= Hollstein 9. With the number 9, not mentioned by Hollstein. With the collector's mark of Albert van den Briel (Lugt 407a).
Idem. The two horses with the plough. The ox and the ass. Two etchings, each 15,3x18,1 cm.
- Trimmed just outside the platemark; 2nd print w. a few sm. grease stains.
= Hollstein 25 and 26, 2nd state of 3, with the number but before the reduced height. H.25 with the manuscript collector's mark of Adam Vassilievitch Olsoufiev (1721-1784) on recto (his initials (Lugt 1752) and Van Doorne and Bianchi on verso.

- Good impression, cut on/ just inside the borderline (right margin w. sl. more loss). Formerly folded; a few tiny holes/ tears (restored) and some foxing; some thin scribbling in pen and ink on verso ln lower margin.

- Fine impression with good clarity and contrast, cut on/ just inside the borderline. Sl. soiled and a few small foxed spots. Verso partly sl. (water)stained, occas. shining through i.a. in lower right corner).

- Trimmed 1,5 mm outside the borderline; a few sm. repairs/ strengthening in corners and along edges on verso; closed vertical tear (±2 cm) near upper edge and one near lower edge; agetoned. A good strong impression with even inking.

- Left and upper margin cut short, w. sl. loss of image (±2 mm), otherwise cut on/ just within the borderline; browned/ foxed; upper left corner w. sm. section torn off; closed tear from the right edge to below the hips of Anna (±1,5 cm.).
= Meder 189, on sixteenth century laid paper with the fish bladder watermark (Meder watermark 309). Part of the series The Life of the Holy Virgin.
- Sm. repair in lower right corner; left edge partly strengthened on verso in lower part; yellowed.
= Meder 122, from the 1511 text edition of the Large Passion (with the text on verso), with the watermark showing the tower (Meder 259). With the collector's mark (?) of the artist W.O.J. Nieuwenkamp: "verz W.O.J.N." in pen and ink on verso (not in Lugt).
