The four vols. that do not contain engravings are titled "Vocabulaire pour la Bibliothèque des Enfants" and contain wordlists that are useful for the subsequent 3 volumes. Van Veen I, 178 (with frontisp. plates in the vocabulary vols.); cf. Bondy p.59ff, Spielmann 209 and Welsh 4817 (and on the English edition).
