= SIGNED and "63" on first free endpaper. With 5p. w. manuscript text by the artist, i.a. an outline of a ceremonial speech for an exhibition of Van Schie's art in 1963. In this draft he gives his perception of a 'true artist' in relation to a 'normal human being': "De kunstenaar is in tegenstelling tot de normale mens, niet aangepast.
